 When you create an ASG (Auto Scaling Group) you may want to have your SSL certificate auto isntalled and auto pointed to the main site.. However this doesn't export / import with the usual APPCMD methods..

To fix this first you must have your SSL certificate imported:

certutil -p YourPassword -importPFX c:\Internet\certs\my-cert.pfx

That gets you part of it - However in IIS you won't have the binding using the certificate - you must log in and select the certificate. To fix this you need to use netsh..

netsh http add sslcert ipport=0.0.0.0:443 certhash=2cb1482ccdebac1256d75b7c754ba5453bdfac5c appid={4dc3e181-e14b-4a21-b022-59fca69bb914}

NOTE: The numbers are the cert hash that you will need to get from the server and the appid..

To get these numbers from a working server run:

netsh http show sslcert

Good luck with your ASG!
